The Empoli Way

At Empoli Football Academy, the Kanga Cup is more than just a tournament: it’s an opportunity to put our philosophy into action on one of Australia’s biggest youth football stages. Held annually in Canberra, the Kanga Cup brings together top teams from across the country and beyond, making it a perfect environment for our players to develop, compete, and showcase their skills.

We approach the tournament with a commitment to:

  • Development-Focused Competition – Winning is important, but growth is our priority. Every match is a chance for players to apply what they’ve learned in training, develop tactical awareness, and gain valuable experience in high-level competition.

  • The Italian Influence – Our structured, technical style of play reflects the methodology of our Italian team, focusing on composure, decision-making, and teamwork under pressure.

  • Character & Professionalism – The Kanga Cup challenges players both physically and mentally. We emphasize discipline, respect, and resilience, ensuring our teams compete with integrity and represent Empoli F.A. at the highest standard.

By taking part in the Kanga Cup, our players experience one of Australia’s premier tournaments while continuing their journey of development the Empoli way.
