This July, join us in Sydney or Melbourne for two unforgettable days of professional coaching, exposure, and development with Empoli F.C.’s top academy staff.

Get Selected to Play in Italy
At the conclusion of the Talent ID Camps, Filippo Lupi (Head of Empoli Academies) and Alessandro Pastorelli (Senior Coach, Empoli F.C.) will select several players to receive a fully funded football experience in Italy.
What you are selected for will depend on your age, position, and footballing level—but every pathway offers a rare opportunity to step into the professional football world.
If selected, you may:

Join a competitive Empoli F.A. squad in your age group and travel to Italy to play against Italian clubs and academies, with all expenses covered

Be offered a direct trial with Empoli F.C. — reserved for exceptional players who meet the club’s technical and physical standards

Be invited to our September trip to Italy, where you’ll train with Empoli F.C. and/or Empoli’s affiliated clubs, with all major costs covered
All selected players will participate in official training sessions and matches at Empoli’s professional training facilities in Tuscany.
This is more than just a prize—it’s your entry point into one of Italy’s most respected youth development systems.
F.A.Q.

When do we need to be there, and until when?We will meet in Empoli on April 17th, so you can arrive that day or any day before then. The tournament concludes on April 27th, and check-out will be on April 28th.

Is the flight included?No, the flight is not included. This allows families the flexibility to choose when to arrive and depart from Italy, as long as participants are present for the tournament dates.

Can my child come alone?If your child needs to travel alone, please get in touch with us to see if we can accommodate this request. Many airlines have strict regulations regarding minors traveling solo, so it may vary depending on the airline. Our preference is for players to be accompanied by a parent or carer.

Are there any other out-of-pocket costs?Aside from the airfare and transport from your arrival/departure airport to Empoli, everything else is included. However, if you wish to buy snacks or additional items outside of the provided meals, that will be at your own expense.

What is the cost?The total fee for a player is $5,650*. Parents and other family members come at a discounted rate. To receive the full brochure, please fill out the expression of interest form. * airfare and transport from your arrival/departure airport to Empoli excluded.
