Empoli's mission has always been to discover and nurture young talents from around the globe, employing Empoli's unique and highly effective training techniques. In 2021, we launched Empoli Football Academy and International Scouting with a clear objective: to coach and scout Australia's best football talents using Empoli's proprietary coaching methods. Meet the Team
Mirko and Bessi first met while playing football with friends. In 2020, they were running a football academy for a local club when they began to recognize the immense potential of football in Australia. However, they noticed a lack of clubs and academies dedicated to nurturing the growth of young players. Driven by their passion for the sport, they reached out to their contacts in Italy and explored ways to bridge this gap. Through their efforts, they connected with Empoli F.C. and realized that partnering with this prestigious club was the perfect opportunity to fulfil their dream: helping more young Australian players reach the highest levels of football.
