As an exclusive, invitation-only competition featuring some of the country’s most ambitious academies, it provides the ideal stage for our most skilled players to grow, compete, and thrive.

The Program

Empoli F.A. is proud to offer selected players the opportunity to represent the academy in the Sydney Premier League an elite, invitation-only competition that brings together some of the best football academies across New South Wales.

Participation in our program is $1,150 and includes::

PROGRAM DETAIL

  • 10-week elite competition program

  • 2 official matches per week (played on the same day)

  • 2 team training sessions per week

  • Tournament registration

  • Empoli F.A. coaching staff on the sidelines at every match

  • Full Empoli F.A. tournament kit, custom-printed with your name, number, and initials:

    • 2 x Official playing kits (jersey, shorts, socks)

    • Academy backpack

Age Group Structure & Game Info

  • U7, U8, U9

    • Format: 7v7 

    • Match Day: Saturdays

    • Location: Lambert Park, Leichhardt

    • Match Length: 2 x 20-minute halves

    • Season Dates: October 11 – December 13
       

  • U10, U11, U12

    • Format: 9v9

    • Match Day: Sundays

    • Location: Blacktown Football Park

    • Match Length: 2 x 20-minute halves

    • Season Dates: October 12 – December 14

This program is designed for players who are ready to take their football to the next level in a professional, competitive setting—guided by our certified Empoli F.A. coaches and supported by a pathway built on discipline, development, and identity.

FAQ
  • When do we need to be there, and until when?
    We will meet in Empoli on April 17th, so you can arrive that day or any day before then. The tournament concludes on April 27th, and check-out will be on April 28th.
  • Is the flight included?
    No, the flight is not included. This allows families the flexibility to choose when to arrive and depart from Italy, as long as participants are present for the tournament dates.
  • Can my child come alone?
    If your child needs to travel alone, please get in touch with us to see if we can accommodate this request. Many airlines have strict regulations regarding minors traveling solo, so it may vary depending on the airline. Our preference is for players to be accompanied by a parent or carer.
  • Are there any other out-of-pocket costs?
    Aside from the airfare and transport from your arrival/departure airport to Empoli, everything else is included. However, if you wish to buy snacks or additional items outside of the provided meals, that will be at your own expense.
  • What is the cost?
    The total fee for a player is $5,650*. Parents and other family members come at a discounted rate. To receive the full brochure, please fill out the expression of interest form. * airfare and transport from your arrival/departure airport to Empoli excluded.
